Last week, Ryan and I decided to go for an afternoon stroll around San Miguel de Allende.
As we rounded a bend near the center, we came face to face with a fountain.
I stopped in my tracks when I noticed this fountain because while the basin was overflowing with water, the stream was slightly missing its mark.
Standing there, observing this happen, I realized how reflective it is of life.
What if Life is consistently funneling blessings and opportunities towards us? But… if we’re not positioned to receive them, they simply miss their mark?
If only we moved our hands a little to the right, we could catch the flow, shifting our experience from one of lack to abundance.
I like to think of this fountain as a visual representation of what happens when we don’t follow our human design strategy and authority—blessings miss their mark and life feels hard, bitter, or frustrating.
When we do follow our human design strategy and authority, a shift occurs, aligning us to flow.
This is not to say that life will be perfect and everything will always work out. There are still experiences in life we are meant to have that won’t work. The gift in these situations is usually the hard won wisdom.*
The difference is, we can miss the stream by an inch or we can move our hands [and follow our human design strategy and authority] to catch it.
💭 Have you experimented with following your human design strategy and authority?
💭 What has it been like for you?

AND if you have no idea what I’m talking about, or you haven’t quite grasped how to apply these concepts to your life or business in real time, look up your free human design chart and then book a human design reading with me 💫

*I am not talking about ALL experiences. Violence, oppression, and trauma are very real experiences that we are not “meant to have” in order to learn something. If anyone tells you otherwise, do not listen to them.
