Last week, I had one of those piercing, “oof, this was uncomfortable, but exactly what I needed to see” kind of coaching sessions with a client.
Let me begin by saying—this client is a genius at what she does.
People are eager to enter her world and experience her guidance and talent. On paper, money is flowing into her business.
But the sales she’s making?
They aren’t the sales she wants to be making.
The majority of her energy is being funneled into her done-for-you offer. It’s what people keep asking for, but it’s also the thing that’s draining her. This work consumes so much of her time that she has little leftover to sell the offer she truly wants to be known for.
When I asked why the done-for-you offer sells so easily, she said:
“It’s something people know they need.”
“They already understand it—I don’t have to over-explain or convince them.”
“I deliver a clear outcome that I’m in control of.”
“I’m confident in my skills and the result I provide.”
In other words: It’s safe. It pays the bills. It carries less emotional risk.
But here’s the deeper truth:
✨ If she consistently sold her legacy offer, she would make more money without increasing her workload.
✨ She would serve more people with her genius, without sacrificing her mental and emotional health.
✨ She would receive more money joyfully.
And while this is her specific situation, if this story feels familiar…
🔦 Where in your business are you defaulting to what feels safe—even if it’s draining?
🔦 Where are you quietly shelving the offer you love because it’s opposing subconscious beliefs about what you’re allowed?
Your legacy offer isn’t the problem.
Your energy behind it is.
Because somewhere below the surface, receiving money through this offer feels risky.
Like my client, it might brush up against the belief that:
💭 You have to work hard to earn money.
💭 You need to prove your value with tangible, visible results.
💭 Other people can’t be relied upon to meet you in the work.
But here’s the thing:
Money flows through the channel of least resistance.
So, how is my client beginning to clear hers?
✨ She’s anchoring into the data and glowing results of the clients who have already completed the offer.
✨ She’s learning how to talk about it with clarity and conviction.
✨ She’s practicing trust—not just in herself, but in her clients and the support systems that hold her.
Most importantly, she’s no longer available for selling the work she wants to be known for from a place of self-protection.
She’s selling it from her center.
From her belief.
From her devotion.
