Let’s Talk About Selling

Uncategorized

Selling products. Selling services. Selling skills.

To preface this post, I want to say:
Everyone I choose to work with is a good-hearted person.
And if you’re reading this, I’m willing to bet that YOU are a good-hearted person, too.

What I find, time and time again—for myself, for my Clients, for us good-hearted people—is that we think we have a sales problem when in reality, we have a BELIEVING problem.

All selling is, is a vehicle for transformation.
All selling is, is a vehicle for service.

Whatever it is you sell, there is a purpose behind it that boils down to: I made this thing to support my fellow humans to feel good, to get what they want, and/or to make their experience of life BETTER.

When you’re a good-hearted person, you’re REALLY GOOD at forgetting this and attaching all kinds of SHIT {disempowering, icky, uncomfortable stories and interpretations} to something that’s actually rooted in love.

You make selling mean all kinds of bad things about who you are, what you want, and the work you’re here to do.

I’m greedy.
I’m selfish.
Who am I to deserve this?
I’m stealing people’s hard earned money.
There’s so much suffering in the world—I should do this work for free.

The list is literally endless, but the point is the same: With all of this SHIT sitting below the surface, are you surprised it feels like a struggle to sell?

When you make selling bad, selling feels bad. And this is where being good-hearted works against you.

When you are a person of integrity and a person who cares, you will do anything and everything to avoid being seen as sales-y and BAD.

This includes never talking about what you have to offer.
This includes not asking for the sale or referrals.
This includes asking for the sale and then backing away when your Client needs you most.
This includes being a doormat when financial agreements aren’t being honored.

The truth is: You sell every day.

You sell your friends on where to eat.
You sell your partner on what vacation to take.
You sell your kids on eating veggies and cleaning up.

And… You sell yourself ON THE SHIT.

Deep down, you know how to sell, but when you take your creation to the stage of the world with shitty stories feeding you lines, your performance will suck no matter how long or hard you rehearse.

It’s what you believe and WHO the beliefs allow you to BE that makes the difference.

Mastering this is critical to creating the next level of income and impact in your business or career. Without sales, it’s difficult to have either of those things.

For this reason, I’ve included THREE epic bonuses with your purchase of The Art of Creating More:

➳ Heal & Shift Your Relationship with Money
➳ The Key Mindset Shifts to Charge High-Level Fees
